WEglobal is looking for Project Officer who will be working in Ankara!
Expectation:
University degree from preferably administrative and social sciences departments
Candidates who are resident or want to live in any of specified countries
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in EU projects
Language knowledge of resident country (mother tongue or native level) and perfect written and oral skills in English
Knowledge for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
Good command of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong team player with great interpersonal skills
Flexible in taking responsibilities outside of position, eager to support other units in need
Responsibilities:
Managing project resources on behalf of Consortium, including backstopping support
Performing quality control and finalization of contractual reports, administrative and activity reports; requiring further information when necessary
Support to the PD in administrative and financial issues;
Controlling Timesheets monthly
Working in coordination with the finance department of WEglobal Ankara and supporting the management of the overall project budget; incidental expenditures
Administrative support for the full functioning of Project Office;
Follow-up of all financial procedures with the Project Assistant (VAT Exemption process regularly reported, and constant accounting procedures, etc.)
Monitor Target Budget with WEglobal Ankara Finance Department
Follow up the mobilization of NKEs with WEglobal Ankara Recruitment Department
Preparing Project Financial Reports and Claims with the Project Director
Ensuring an accurate tracking of all activities in Project Plan
